About Jake Walker

Jake Walker is a professional racing driver currently competing full-time in the IMSA WeatherTech Championship with Gradient Racing, driving a Ford Mustang GT3. His career includes multiple IMSA podiums and wins, numerous WRL victories, and a Nürburgring A permit earned through competition at the legendary German circuit. His experience spans IMSA, Rallycross, and international racing across all vehicle platforms, from GT cars and Radicals to prototypes, open-wheel formulas, and high-performance street cars.

What Separates Jake's Coaching

Jake coaches from active, current experience. As a full-time professional racing driver, the techniques, data tools, and engineering knowledge he brings to coaching are the same ones he uses week to week competing at the highest level of North American sportscar racing, not methods from years past.

Working directly alongside IMSA engineers gives Jake a technical perspective that translates naturally into driver development. Students work with the same data analysis approach, setup principles, and feedback processes used in professional motorsport. The coaching is grounded in what actually works at a high level, applied in a way that's practical and relevant for every driver.

Jake brings real reference laps from competition experience, giving students a clear picture of what professional-level driving looks like and a structured path toward it. Focus areas include throttle and brake technique, weight transfer, tire management, setup understanding, data analysis, and racecraft.

Training Approach

Jake works with drivers at every level, from someone taking their first laps on track to experienced competitors preparing for professional racing. Every session is focused on measurable improvement through methods that have been proven at the highest levels of the sport.

Professional driver development through proven methods and practical application.
